Koyn offers an exceptional dining experience with great service and a lovely atmosphere. The food was outstanding, with the baby chicken and tenderloin beef being absolute standouts—perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. The cocktails were equally impressive, beautifully crafted to complement the meal. Highly recommend for anyone seeking top-quality Japanese cuisine!
Wonderful birthday meal that I was treated to here. Opted for the Thai part of the restaurant and was not disappointed. Highly recommend for spice lovers! Service was extremely attentive - almost too much so at some points, sometimes dishes felt slightly rushed but this did not detract at all from quality of food and service. Highlights: satay, crispy squid, beef, spicy papaya salad. Will definitely come back.
Nikola , the host looked after the entire event. From planning to welcoming and serving our guests. Answering all their questions with a constant smiley face and utter professionalism. Thank you Nikola …
Disappointing and Overpriced - Not Worth the Hype I rarely write reviews, but my experience at Koyn compelled me to share this warning. Describing it as a "Japanese restaurant" feels almost insulting to the rich culinary tradition of Japan. The food was shockingly subpar—bland, poorly executed, and devoid of the finesse one expects from Japanese cuisine. Despite the Michelin-level prices, the quality was far below even a mid-range restaurant.. This was not just bad value for money—it felt like a scam. Koyn's attempt to present itself as a high-end Japanese dining experience fails on every level. Honestly, Japan should consider suing them for misrepresentation. This is not a Japanese restaurant; it's an overpriced facade. Save your money and seek authentic Japanese cuisine elsewhere. London has far better options.
