Going to my list of my top 5 favorites in London. Fair price and great food, I think this why is in Michelin distinctions list! We try 6 dishes from the menu and everything was great! Vegetarians options, my husband love his hot spice options and i enjoy my mild ones. Aparta of the yogurt desert, I can grade 10/10. We are going to book for Christmas dinner here, I know everyone will enjoy.
Ambiance here is great - decor is very pretty. Relatively easy to make a reservation here but it is needed because it was packed! Service is a bit slow but worth it! Got the chaat, chicken tandoori, and the shepherds pie. Shepherds pie is definitely not what I expected in all the right ways. Spices were top notch and on point for the dish and worthy of being in the 100 best dishes in London! Also got a gin julep that was OK
Visited pre-theatre. Explained before we ordered, we had two separate vouchers to use. When we tried to settle the bill using the vouchers the manager said we could only use one quoting Ts&Cs that didn’t exist. When we showed him the Ts&Cs that came with the vouchers, and pointed out that there was nothing in them to restrict us to using one voucher per meal, he then blamed system problems, saying their tills wouldn’t accept two vouchers for one meal. Shame as the food and service from the other staff both excellent. We would not recommend buying gift vouchers from this chain as this is not the first time we’ve had issues with them being accepted.
This is a nice place serving modern takes on Indian or British fusion dishes. The samosas and the shepards pie are recommended. We also had a dessert with ginger toffee and that was an eye opener as well. The service is quite fine as well!
