I have some joy to share with you. THIS IS THE BEST PLACE TO HAVE SOME GOAN FOOD!!!!! I have been to this place twice now and got a chance to taste from Mumbai(Bombay) to Goa. To begin with, this was a wonderful experience with a warm welcome and a greeting from the host. The Gentleman offered us some papas with a mix of tomato, onion and some herbs. Delicious 😋. Then I had ordered the Bombay triple rice and I was not disappointed. It was spicy and kind of a unique experience which filled me with lot of joy and I thoroughly enjoyed my food. Thank you for that. He next day I tried the chicken cafreal a Goan specialty with steam rice and I was not at all disappointed. The food was top notch. It was a treat to all my 3 senses. I had also ordered GS special chilly cheese Naan which was good too. Some might find this to be overpriced but trust me, the price justifies the quality and quantity of the food you get. They also run some combo offers which are great too. I wish I could come daily but surely you have a regular customer. Thank you team GS. Kudos to you 👏👏👏👏
The food was utterly delicious. No issues with the taste but yes the #DrumsOfHeaven were over fried and periperi was a little unlike peri peri. And the food felt a little too heavy to eat. But yes, loved the tripple schezwan fried rice and the Manchow soup. The staff was quite polite and respectful and served us well.
Food ordered by welcoming staff. The waiter could remember all items in his memory which was quite impressive. Chicken Spring Rolls did NOT contain any chicken at all. Chicken Tikka starter arrived completely blackened (both chicken cubes and vegetables). I told the staff that I can't eat this and they took it back to the kitchen. Within a couple of minutes I got the Chicken Tikka back, this time on a different (cold) plate and it was the same chicken cubes with some of the black stuff scraped off and all the black vegetables had disappeared. I wanted to pay the stuff we actually consumed and leave, but then the main meal came out of the kitchen, so that was consumed and paid for. Very disappointing that the not so smart kitchen staff tried to deceive me. People can make mistakes, but this was clearly bad intend. I have eaten there many times before, but this was certainly the last time ever.
Good food we had the kingprawns they were nice and chicken mandala and the butterchicken were very good. Nice People and near de Grant Hyat.
