Amazing food one of the best meal I had ever And the service was very nice Definitely, I will come back
Named after the capital of Azerbaijan, Baku Cafe serves up some tasty dishes, mixing modern ingredients with traditional dishes. Having never eaten Azerbaijani food before, I was happily surprised at the selection of soups and salads on the menu. The shaki piti soup was yummy and highly recommended. The stew is made with lamb meat, chickpeas, chestnuts, dried plums, onions, saffron, and sheep tail fat. The stew is served by a member of staff with the option of separating the broth from the meat into two dishes. I went for the mix, which provided a rich tasting broth and a tasty shredded lamb meat. The Baku tomatoe salad is highly recommended as the large bowl of humble tomatoes is turned into a tasty dish that combines onion and a slightly sweet cherry sauce. The unsung hero of the meal was the freshly baked bread. Outstandinlgy fluffy and fresh. The service is efficient and cordial. One of the better places in Dubai's downtown city walk.
Just had a late lunch in here and really enjoyed it. The door lady didn't let me sit outside because it was too hot and honestly she's done me a proper favour, it would have been painful even in the shade and indoors was lovely and cool. Had a lamb dish, Kazan Kebab, and it was excellent, and the mint lemonade I had with it properly hit the spot. A lovely, unexpected find, pleased I took a chance on it.
The food and the staff where nice but extrealy over priced and som e fees like service charge where not mentioned on the menu.
