Lunch last Wednesday at Delhi Corner was fabulous! A family owned restaurant whose owners hail from Delhi, the head chef has a 5 star hotel background and coupled with his extensive knowledge and passion for North India traditional dishes, you can understand why diners are visiting daily and some even driving from other Emirates to what appears to be a simple yet modern and highly efficient restaurant. The food was really amazing to taste; so full of flavour, hot, spicy, just divine.
Food is very delicious, and have much quantity...but if u go for dine alone, their service is worst. Don't even bother about customer and won't even listen what customer has ordered. I used to go just because their food is genuine and very delicious. If owner is there everything goes well, else that counter damn person neither take the order, n if he took the order he takes it without listening... Silly guys... To your information owner, sir please lead the guys in order to satisfy a customer. I am rating u 4stars is on the basis of your food menu you provide and the taste the food delivers... For food I give stars, but for the guys I give 4 stars...
I always found the scarcity of good family restaurants in Ajman. There are many around the Ajman Corniche area but that’s all about it. If you stay far from that area, then you would probably have to travel to Sharjah/Dubai in search of good food! But now you need not worry at all, cause this restaurant not only provides dine in as well as home delivery. But it provides food to comfort your soul and make your heart dance! Yes, no jokes here…I haven’t come across food which is so delicious, at least not in this area. You simply have to try it out to know about my amazing experience! To begin with, we had dahi ke kebab which was crisp, soft and needless to say delicious kababs made with dahi. Interestingly, hung curd forms the main ingredient of these kebabs and they literally melt in your mouth and has a crispy outer layer. You won’t find this appetizer in any other restaurant so do try it out as it’s worth it. The next on the list stole the show for me. Veg Schezwan Momo`s !!! how do I describe this dish? I literally ran out of words. Well to begin with, they were quite spicy, just the way I like with really good stuffing. The best part was their stuffing which was in good quantity. In fact it’s quite filling and probably the best way to kickstart your meal. For main course, we went for malai koftas, these were delicious melt in the mouth koftas which were rich and creamy, the kofta was then dunked into mildly sweet and lightened spiced gravy! This is one Royal dish with perfect blend of spices, and went perfectly with my stuffed kulchas. The next on the list was paneer tikka masala as this is the one among the few Indian curries that never go out of fashion and will always make you salivate by just hearing its name. This paneer tikka masala tastes sumptuous and can be wolfed down within seconds with any naan/roti. The marinated pieces of paneer are simmered in a tomato based creamy curry and these guys ace the art of making some of the best curries. We had the entire meal with stuffed kulcha, another great combination of potato and paneer stuffing and missi roti which is sure to give you flavours of the north! Overall I had a wonderful dining experience, I have visited the other branch of Delhi Corner earlier which is another gem in Ajman. Highly recommend Delhi Corner to you guys as what ever you order, you will definitely love it! The staff is really friendly and will guide you through the menu, they will help you and suggest according to your taste. Also the pricing is apt and does not hit your pocket, so overall this place gets a thumbs up!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDING IT.
Had been there for lunch with my colleagues. It is a small place, so don't expect them to provide space for more than 10 people at a time. But the food is homely and tastes great. It is usually served hot, just off the fire.
