Ulus branch of Uludağ kebap, is an Ankara classic. They only serve Döner and it’s derivatives. Uludağ is still good, but not as great as it’s used to be. In lunch time, portions are probably prepared in advance, then heated before being served. At least mine was surely like that. This process makes dishes feel much more fatty and less consistent in terms of heat distribution. Either way, service is good and atmosphere is fine.
Really enjoyed a real Turkish donor kebab and Turkish coffee. I'll definitely be back on my next visit to Ankara
Their kebabs are one of the best in town! Highly recommended. They have nice variety for everyone. Their desserts are delicious!
Food is no doubt excellent and beyond. HOWEVER, establishment - usher in particular is a ZERO in my book. All the decent tables have a reserved plack and yet all were empty during our entire meal. Only when we decided to walk out we were given a decent table. I rate this establihment as a Zero. Do a little research, and you can enjoy the Iskender kebap without the snob experience. Tipped the waiter cause he was nice enough. Rest them staff need a bat in the head for a wakeUp call!!!!
