Greeted by wonderful doormen at the hotel who directed us to the lifts and the 40th floor. We had booked and were shown to our seats facing out to the AMAZING view, just as we asked for. We were given our menus and some lovely snacks and not pestered to make a quick decision. We ordered various cocktails and nibbles over 3 hours and were always served efficiently. A perfect end to a Christmas Day. Bravo Bar.Yard, you ticked every box.
The vibe and atmosphere were nice and the food was quite tasty but limited choices. They offer good list of wines with great variety. The weather was nice and breezy when we went there so it made our night out more enjoyable. However, there were two really off points. 1. They made such a fuss because we arrived late for 25 mins due to heavy traffic on Friday day. They told us that we needed to give up our table in a hour. Though that didn’t happen, it was still annoying. 2. They only give 4 hours free for parking at the hotel, then 50 baht/ hour. I’ve never been to any 4 or 5 star hotel in Bangkok that charge us for parking when we go to eat and drink at their restaurant or bar. We spent over 7000 baht for 2 people. There are plenty of similar or nicer rooftop bars in Bangkok so you have better choices than this one, that’s all I wanted to say.
Before I write I should say that staff here are very friendly and specially Khun TJ is very hard working and suggested us the perfect Menu of food and drink both which we enjoyed a lot. The music is good and ambiance is very good with both option of indoor and outdoor. The portion of each dish is good enough too. I had spicy margarita which is amazing. I recommend to visit and will definitely come again
More a tourist trap. Indeed beautiful scenery, but pot choice of loud dj music ( matter of taste agree) food average, cocktails average . Disappointed as it's rated so high .
