Had an awesome experience at Tep bar. Drinks was creative, food was ok. As a Thai we all agreed that it could be better. However, the drinks and the atmosphere are what we were there for. Live music is so much fun and enjoyable. Place can be super crowded and loud as you would expect. Booked online with a deposit. Staff are helpful and friendly. A little pricey but worth the experience.
A hidden pub at the end of a secret aisle, featuring skilled musicians playing traditional Thai instruments. The creative cocktails and extensive menu are standout features. However, the venue can get quite crowded, and we ended up sitting on the stairs while waiting for a table to become available. It’s an excellent choice for those who enjoy a lively atmosphere, though it may not be ideal for those seeking a more peaceful experience.
Very authentic local bar. Serving mainly locally made ingredients (even wine!). Staff is super friendly. Drinks fabulous . Go!
I LOVED this place! It was a highlight of my short time in Bangkok. The food and cocktails were absolutely delicious--especially the ones made with the Thai liquor. The staff was very kind and they knew a lot about mixology. I especially enjoyed the band that played contemporary Thai music that evening - super cool! There also seemed to be a good mix of locals and tourists, and the ambiance was also lovely.
