Food tastes.. average. Service is good, as in the boss and the team will try to service and pour the beer. However, I rate it 2/5 only because I ordered the tomyum soup for 180 THB. I was very clear to the lady server that I only want the 180 one. In the end they served the most expensive 280 THB one. When I questioned them about it, they said that it had been served so they cannot do anything about it. They did not give me any refund. I am putting this review to warn other potential dinners of this situation. When you order from this restaurant, please make sure you tell them very clearly and have a record. They might over-charge you.
If you're going to watch a match i highly suggest going early and dropping by here for a meal. The food is really good but to add to that was the service! Best service i've had in awhile, i think the owner was the one accommodating us during the whole dining experience, our beer glasses were never empty...also our water glasses, he gave us recommendations on what to order and how to eat the food that was served. It was so awesome! 5 stars all the way
I came in 3 minutes before it closed. Pouring rain outside. Even though they'd already started to close up, this nice man packed me up a chicken to go (which was delicious), and sticky rice. After I'd paid, he kept pouring me cups of tea...I was drenched. Holding an umbrella, he crossed the street and got me back under an awning, where I could catch a cab. Everyone in Bangkok has been super friendly, but this guy deserves a medal. Got back to my hotel room and scarfed up the chicken, which was awesome. Felt so grateful for my dinner thanks to him.
This place is an institution. Great staff. Come here and eat before watching the fights. Best Thai BBQ chicken and som tum in Bangkok. Make sure you ask for “Thai Spicy” on the hot scale.
