The menu has been updated, unfortunately the butter chicken has been removed. It's really a pity. The burgers are very good. One of the few places within Sudan that maintains good quality.
Nice change of pace if you want to get away from the chaotic bustle of Khartoum. It’s literally an oasis in the middle of the city. Great pastas, pizzas, pastries, coffees and juices. The ravioli is a must-try. A bit more expensive, but it’s definitely worth the price. Impossible to get a seat inside in the air con but they set up fans on the patio. Staff is super nice.
This restaurant is expensive, one that I only visited on special occasions and with friends or business people. Ozone offers an escape from Khartoum. Close your eyes for a moment and imagine you're in Europe or anywhere else! The ambience is quiet and peaceful. The service is faultless. The food is simple but because of quality ingredients, some of the best food in Khartoum. Because it is simple to cook, the food is consistently cooked to perfection. I normally came at lunch and had the sandwiches which are delicious! This restaurant would stand out just about anywhere in the world. If you can't afford to eat here, do try the ice creams which can be served to go from the Cafe section. They are sensational and have options for frozen yogurt too.
Ozone is a Khartoum hotspot for those that want a chilled environment, good coffee and great food. All of this in a lovely outdoor setting comes with premium prices but at least what you get is good. Wi-Fi was a bit hit and miss on our visits and the menu is only digital which was irritating at times. Still, if you want some contemporary global food this is the place to go.
