An excellent culinary experience, with superbly fresh seafood, however, steeply priced. Every dish was excellent, all the way through to outstanding desserts. However, possibly because of a very restricted space (40 seats?), the premium pricing vs similar places in Madrid runs at about 30-40%. That’s the reason why I didn’t give it a 5*.
A place to definitely take into account for fresh grilled fish and seafood. Superb product, that you will have to pay for. Small, cozzy and elegant venue, good service and well-chosen wine list.
We went here for dinner with another couple of friends and we chase starters and main dishes all with seafood. Fresh ingredients for a tasty modern cuisine and excellent wine list. Elegant environment and careful service. The prices are coherent with a restaurant pf this level in Madrid and I recomnend to have a dinner here if you are around (reservation is needed).
When we ordered it was confuse. They told us at first the cost per red mullet would be 30-35 eur each one. Later appeared the waiter it was going to be 70 euros. We thought it was going to be for both but at the end it was for each one. Please clarify your order, that would be my recomendation. Bear in mind i’m spanish speaker. As starters we ordered one anchovy per person and a half of red prawn. We started eating the tail of the red prawn and we left the best part (Head) for the end. When we got the head and it was close to my nose i received a strange smell to ammonia. We told the waiter and showed the heads just to check it. The answer was from the cook and waiter: it is impossible it os fresh do you are wrong, and why you have eaten the tail. We told them we were not looking for a discount but it smells to ammonia and it wasn’t fresh. As main dishes we ordered red mullet and flounder. The teast was ok and the fish looked fresh. At the end we ordered the bill and it was 442 euros. It was very expensive and conpletely crazy quality vs price. You can find other places for a half and probably better quality
