I had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious and exceeded my expectations. The restaurant itself was immaculately clean, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. What truly stood out, however, was the exceptional service. The staff were friendly, attentive, and efficient, ensuring that our needs were met promptly. To top it all off, the views from the restaurant were simply stunning, providing the perfect backdrop to our meal. Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great dining experience. Five stars well deserved!
A nice place but the service was slow. Excuses about certain items not available on the menu. High High prices for wine but commendable for a wide selection
I was informed in the hotel I could go and visit the restaurent suggesting that it was part of the hotel and me assuming I could bill it back to my room which was not the case. It's the first time ever I have ordered pork belly that never came with crackling but a blob of fat on the top instead. Let's not talk about the wine! I asked for a glass of house wine expecting it to be around R50 but instead it came back almost at the same price of the meal at a wopping R229 while an entire bottle of this very same wine is just R119. It's safe to say I will never visit this place again.
Nice and cosy restaurant with high end interior, beautiful views and eye watering prices. Dress code Formal/Semi Formal. The food was really good and we enjoyed the evening. We will also visit again for a special occasion. The reason for the 3 star review. We ordered wine from the very good wine menu but it was not available and chose an alternative for which they charged R600 instead of the R420 indicated on the menu (they will update the prices we were told after the fact) We ordered beef carpaccio for starters, but again it was not available. The waiter suggested Venison Carpaccio, but went blank when we wanted to know what kind of venison. My wife wanted fish for mains and ordered the Sole which was again out of stock, alternatively the line fish. When enquiring what kind of fish the line fish was, the answer from the waiter was "the long one" while showing with the hands something in the vicinity of 25-30 cm, so we rather opted for the kingklip fillet which was really good. I can suggest the very fresh Sushi, the Duck Trio as well as the Beef Fillet and mushroom Royale dish. So five star venue, five star food, five star prices but need some work on customer service to earn a five star review.
