Went here for a work function. Unbelievable food in a surreal setting
The most beautiful place I have been to in WestCliff.
Reservations that was meant for the fine dining restaurant was incorrectly allocated to the Cellar Door. Food for Christmas Lunch was sub standard Was not a memorable Christmas Lunch Will not visitCellar Door again
After numerous visit to this Establishment, today they reached their all-time low. Knowing that booking is essential, we did so timeously. Upon arriving we were pointed out to the deck where we were to be seated. When we got to the "deck" there was no one there to assist and after a couple of minutes a member of the staff arrived, asking whether we have booked, which we confirmed we did. It then appears that they did not have a table set for us, after consulting with another member of the staff, we were then offered another table. After we were seated we again waited, to be offered drinks. Upon the arrival of our drinks, the waiter then wanted to take our order. I suggeested that the waiter first brings us sugar for our coffees and then take our breakfast order. During breakfast we noticed that there was no butter on the table for the toast, which again we had to ask for. Considering that the breakfast area was not even fully occupied, makes it worse. Will I recommend this going forward? DEFINITELY NO! Jordan please sort your waiter staff out this is not you.
