Always a good meal at New Ubin. Plenty of cereal for the cereal prawns, not spicy at all. Enjoyed the boss beehoon, good amount of smokiness from the wok hey. Suggest to make a reservation to secure your dine in slot as they might turn you away as the restaurant is usually full especially on popular occasions or weekends.
Nice atmosphere for dining in a comfortable setting for groups The crab standard is not as before, but still decent if not picky. Flesh is not the firm, wild Sri Lankan crab that most locals would prefer. Other signature dishes like the beef, fried kailan, cereal prawn,hokkien mee, beehoon are ok.
Celebrated our chinese new year reunion early and we enjoyed New Ubin Seafood curated set menu. Display on point and the peranakan inspired dishes are delicious. Service is on point too.
Our waitress, Elsie, perfectly curated a wonderful lineup of Singaporean specialty dishes that made all our tummies happy! The Chilli Crab was superb and was perfectly matched with 4 additional orders of the deep fried Man Tou buns 🦀 Cereal Prawns begged for seconds 🦐 the Boss Bee Hoon’s distinct toasted flavor profile made us all smell, chew & slurp 🍜 the new tastebud introduction of the Bakwan Kepiting soup was unforgettable 🫕 and the fully loaded Kangkong Sambal & Zi Char Chicken… all astoundingly delicious in a peaceful setting away from the crowds 💕. Topping this off with fancy Chendol, Durian Ice Cream & Mango Sago 🍧. Let’s Makan!!! We will be back to try other dishes.
