Tried their Dry Aged Australian Angus Porterhouse Steak for 2 which has a big serving that can really shared by 4 persons. Amazing and tender steak with 5 various sauces on the side. Also had the Porterhouse Salad with spinach, green apples and almonds that made it really nice. Cozy and classy ambiance with great customer service.
Decided on Porterhouse was a special occasion dinner. Our waiter was so friendly and there if we had any questions. I would recommend every item that I had besides the lobster tail. The dessert menu was phenomenal. Overall, great place for a date night!
Very nice and cozy place. We had the 3 course setmenu it was perfect for us. The shrimp tacos were amazing but a little too spicy for me, my parner is a spicy lover she loved it. I can not review the steak just because it was cooked perfectly and melted like butter. The dessert was not up to expectations and needs some revision. The banana pie was dry fron inside and was not that enjoyable, while the soflet was not much tasty. Service was very professional and prompt. The team was attentive and gave a good eye for details. Overall, i would recommend this place
Porterhouse, 28-Jul-23, Dinner Industrial meets cabin in the woods themed steak house, with eerie silence—no music played until 9pm, so we endured a relatively silent restaurant for 2 hours. Overall a great value—the 287 SAR 3-course set menu netted us a starter, a 500g meat main, a side, and a dessert (we added a bottle of sparkling water, bumping the price to 303.5 SAR each). Meat/Price: Australian Black angus bone-in ribeye dry aged 30 days, 287 SAR for 500g and the rest of the set menu—that’s one hell of a steal. But there was something wrong with my ribeye—it identified as prime rib, and looked closer to Prime Rib, even though it was born a ribeye. Seriously, my ribeye was exceptionally lean—only minimal marbling, so it was missing that typical ribeye flavor profile. It also lacked any semblance of juicy succulence—I could have hung my ribeye from my fork above the plate and not a drop of meat juice would have dropped from it—and the steak was served rather cool, though it was cooked perfectly medium rare throughout, from edge to edge. It also lacked seasoning—it clearly wasn’t seasoned prior to cooking. Misc: 1. Cloth napkins! 👍🏻 Come on, Thermo, you can do it! 2. Don’t waste your time with the Ceviche, or the French onion Mac and cheese. The ceviche was a watery red, and the French onion Mac n cheese was simply overpowered by the taste of French onion. 3. Slow and inattentive service staff. 4. Free bread at the start (thanks!), and the lit candle butter was a cool touch.
