Welcoming staff 👍🏻 Ok service but nothing exceptional (a bit slow). The watermelon salad was not the best. Large pieces, lots of seeds and off ratios. Good empenanda and shrimp. The lamb was amazing. Crispy, juicy and plain delicious.
The Empanadas were amazing I loved them. The wagyu beef was ok. The service wasn’t as a restaurant with that class and prices should be. They served me the appetizers and disappeared, no one came to the table until I called someone passing by to order. No one checked how the food was and finally paid by myself through the table code then left. I had so much better service in regular dinings.
We were wanting a good steak so we ordered the aged ribeye medium rare to share for 58 euros. However, the steak we ordered was mostly medium and chewy with a lot of fat. We also ordered the Iberian ham Croquettes which were mostly cheese and very little of the ham, couldn't taste it. Maybe other meats are good at this restaurant, but beef is not what they know how to correctly cook. I also ordered a catalan granacha which I was hoping to be full bodied, but is was rather watery. The peppers were very good and the white aperagus was also good. The staff was very helpful, but the manager was condescending when I pointed out the catalan granacha was not full bodied. The roof is tiled and the floor is also tiled so makes for a very noisy restaurant. The structure is a beautiful house just noisy.
An excellent restaurant, a must visit when you are in Barcelona or anywhere you find this restaurant. Staff is very friendly we had Christina and Alexandra serving our table. Suckling pig was amazing and tasty. Prices are reasonable. Highly recommended
