Located in the heart of Saint Petersburg, The Repa offers a unique dining experience that beautifully marries Russian culinary traditions with contemporary flair. The restaurant's ambiance is inspired by the nearby Mariinsky Theatre, featuring a chic decor that includes original stage floorboards and ballet-inspired imagery. Diners rave about the creative dishes, such as the Ladoga pike and halibut with cauliflower cream, which often steal the spotlight. The Repa is an ideal spot for theatre-goers, offering a 10-15% discount for those attending performances at the Mariinsky. With a focus on quality and creativity, it's no surprise that it attracts couples, families, and solo travelers alike, making it a beloved dining destination in the city.

The place alone was a masterpiece! Stepping on the old Mariinsky stage floor, surrounded by ballet-inspired images, accompanied by really interesting gastronomic choices! The sorbet starter was a surprise! The plates of ladoga pike (more salty) and halibut with cauliflower cream (sweeter) were both unexpectedly amazing - in such an extent that we ate them right away, before even taking a photo!
It is quite a new Russian style restaurant. The main dish is delicious but starters and soup are horrible. They have 10% discount for holding ticket of Mariinsky Theatre but they also charge service fee. I think the food is average but the price is more than I expected.
Located right next to the opera, ideal for a dinner before or after the shows. Very nice atmosphere and nice decor. Staff is friendly, service efficient. Unfortunately the food did not really convince me. All ingredients were good quality, but all dishes lacked taste. A pity because it is really a charming place.
Russian Fine Dining with a twist and excellent recommendations and service. If you do one fine dinner in St Petersburg make it this place. also had super easy Kids menu and totally cool about having kids there too
