This restaurant is exceptional. Everything is cooked to perfection and beautifully presented. The chef clearly takes huge pride in work and it shows. The prices are very reasonable for the quality and the service is superb. We stayed in the hotel here as well and it was perfect for us. The beef checks are amazingly tender and succulent.
My husband and I had a very nice lunch here before walking to to the Hermitage, about 3 blocks away. We we're able to order our food ahead of time to save time. Service was good and the food was very enjoyable. I had dumplings, and my husband had Chicken Kiev, which was both artfully prepared and presented. The restaurant is named after a good friend of the poet Pushkin, who lived nearby.
There service is very good, Staff is very polite and helpful, and they also understand English, Chicken and meat variety is good, they have big windows next to tables . Where you can sit and enjoy your meal with view of city along with the river
Very small and nice restaurant. Not very “in” jazz music , strict service a bit “dry” but everything was fine . The food was exquisite.
