I had the pleasure of dining at the Sakhalin restaurant in Moscow. The restaurant is known for its stunning views of the city skyline and its fresh seafood. I was particularly impressed by the quality of the ingredients and the skill of the chef. The dish I ordered was a delicate balance of flavors, and the presentation was simply beautiful. The service was impeccable, and the atmosphere was sophisticated yet relaxed. Overall, it was a delightful dining experience that left me feeling satisfied and impressed.
Nice food (especially seafood), kind and plesure all staff. Amazing views trough windows. Just looked a little bit old, need renovation.
Visited for a birthday party and the place put it’s best for forward in every aspect. Despite the pretty long history, restaurant keep shining, which I consider a token of quality any HORECA place should strive for. Gret interior - clean, feel spacious and cosy. Impeccable service - not a single complain. Vast menu and food cooked with a high level of perfection. Everything was tasty and balanced. I had: Crab bisque risotto - not that fatty, balanced. Good Crab dim sum - lovely Boletus clear soup - perfect. As I love it personally Black pearl dessert - something special - definitely a must-try Gin and berry cordial cocktail by a waiter recommendation - very interesting. Totally recommend!
We had lunch there in September. Three of us. A table had been reserved in advance. We were placed by the panoramic window with a stunning view of central Moscow. The service was provided by two waiters, it was courteous, exact, and professional. The venue fully deserves a Michelin star. Still, the snag, in my opinion, is their obnoxious price tag. Therefore, minus one point. We had gazpacho with crab meat and stracciatella di bufala, borscht à la Sakhaline (with Laminaria instead of cabbage), pesto risotto with a shrimp from Argentina (yes, with one!), salmon ceviche with avocado, zander with wild rice, grilled octopus with baby potatoes and chanterelles, and a bottle of champagne. Their cuisine is good, hands down! It was not only scrumptious but also elegantly decorated. During our lunch we also toured the place, went to the outdoor gallery, and looked at the seafood that was on display—either swimming in large aquariums or lying on ice. We paid about RUR 23,000 (≈USD 255) for that extravaganza. Pricey even for Moscow, as I said. They offer valet parking.
