One of the best cafes you have to visit at least twice when in Moscow - breakfast is another experience and lunch or dinner is another - we had once in gum breakfast and in this location we had dinner and breakfast - they are so sweet the staff speak English and happy to help - we ordered porridge and raf ( you have to try this coffee when in Russia from soviet days it’s basically milk coffee and sugar ) omelette and salmon with sour cream toast - was sooooo good . For dinner we had mushroom soup so different than others it’s clear soup with chunks of mushroom - Kiev chicken carbonara ans salads - sooooo good 10/10. Ps they have one of the best black bread in town - they only sad thing is they don’t have beetroot bourch soup and they don’t have Olivier salad rest is all good I wish one day they will add those traditional dishes to their menu that is a favorite of many .
Great service! Most staff spoke English fairly well. Were able to recomend delisious Lunch. I had salmon Poke and Tom Yum soup. Reasonably priced for portion size and quality,
I had “Latte halva” with sesame at Gum. This drink was slightly bitter, the mug was too big and there was too much sesame on top. SEE photos
We stumbled upon this coffee shop by accident and boy, did we regret it. We payed 7€ for a small, average coffee and additional 7€ for the cheapest still water and everything else on the menu looked riddiculously overpriced! No one speaks English, there's no wifi, do not waste your time and money on this place.
