One of Novikov's restaurants. Translated into English the restaurant name is "Altitude 5642" which suggests it's a restaurant in the high mountains; the warming homely food certainly gives it that impression. The restaurant ambiance has an industrial exposed warehouse feel with high (say 5m) ceilings. Service is attentative. Far back exposed kitchen presents the chefs hard at work. Being new to the menu allowed for three courses and a dessert. Food arrives fast and everything ordered as per my picture posts was so delicious. One set back was surprisingly no waiting staff barely say a word in English though fortunate they had English menus. Definately a go back place.
Walked in at 7PM without reservations and was offered a counter seat. Staff was very attentive to me despite a full house that night. The food here will make you happy if you like meat.
Great Georgian restaurant, very well located near the Red Square. Friendly staff, very good food. The place is nice and comfortable.
Title say it all. I have been here twice within the last 2 months, once with friends and once with family for Christmas and the food has always been fantastic, with a wide choice of dishes and mains, all from either Georgian or Russian origin. The atmosphere is lovely, not very busy at lunchtimes and quite busy in the evening, but not to the point where it’s annoying. Honestly it’s just perfect. Special thanks to the English speaking staff who are very attentive, kind and make the whole experience very enjoyable. I 100% recommend making a stop here !
