We were extremely disappointed because none of our expectations for the restaurant were met. The food tasted weird and bad so I was truly curious whether the chef has a unique tastebud unlike any others or something. The atmosphere were the open market type of casual so it gets noisy and somewhat annoying from time to time. What actually pissed me off the most was that the staff left me waiting at the counter for so long just to return me some change while he was there joking around with other staff members and my Grab driver was also mad for having to wait outside. Utterly unprofessional and unacceptable.

Ying Ying Tea House is one of the older Chinese restaurants (much older than David's Tea house) with its only restaurant in Escolta St. cor. Yuchengco St. in Binondo, Manila. Parking is too limited, as you may park beside the road unless when someone has occupied its vehicle beside the restaurant. They have lots of dimsums and other Chinese speciality foods. As you can see, they have huge wooden steamers for siomai. They have roasted chicken and ducks hanging on a skewer. The restaurant is busy all day, and customers flock to this restaurant almost every day. The restaurant has a second floor to occupy voluminous customers, and it is aiconditioned compared to the ground floor. Toilet is okay, but tightly spaced on the ground floor. I ordered rare ones such as hebe Cheong Fan, appeared like a soft and smooth rice cake with sweet-spicy sauce and a peanut butter sauce. They serve a complementary hot tea.

This place is so filthy. Hard to eat because everything is dirty and smelly. The food is also not as good as it was before. Overall, we had a very disgusting experience.

The hype is real! We went there before 9am on a Sunday and there was a small line already. The place looks like the usual Binondo restaurant, small and a bit out date but dont let that fool you. The servers were super quick and waiting time for food was around 10-20 mins. One of the best place for dimsum in the Philippines! We ordered a small amout of food, but I must they were one of the best I tasted. Prices are cheap too! We decided that we will need visit them again hahaha.
