🍽 5/10 Overhyped and Overpriced M Dining's reputation as a fine dining establishment didn't live up to my expectations. The Chorizo Puff and Filet Mignon were a letdown, but the Skate provided a slight redemption. Overall, it felt more pretentious than pleasant. I'm afraid the value for money just isn't there. Also, the seats were so close to one another… I would expect fine dining restaurants to offer more privacy? I could hear full blown conversations from the seat next to us cause of how close we were seated. Waiters are also not that friendly.
I give M Dining 5 stars out of 5 stars I had dinner here with my wife and a friend last week. The food was fabulous. Service was excellent. The interior and ambiance of the restaurant are elegant. To top this off - M Dining / Tom Bascon managed to satisfy all of our senses.
I’ve heard of this resto before but my boyfriend and I finally tried it primarily because of its Tatler Dining distinction. All I can say is this restaurant definitely deserves this distinction. We tried two apps, the ragu pasta and the filet mignon—all were divine. Service was top-notch as well. This restaurant was one of only two (lol) restaurants my American boyfriend swore he’d try again when he’s back in Manila. Building is located in a nondescript area though so be on the lookout.
