Really amazing experience from the first course to the last. Lots of different flavors and textures but each amazingly enjoyable. Paired with great wines, this dining experience can’t be missed. Chef Josh continues to nail it and is always free for some table side banter. Must check it out!
Now I have a poor mouth, by that I mean I was born in a middle class family that now have decent money for me to afford this. I would say the course is delicious and delivers a unique taste. The serving may look small but it is fulfilling by the end. However I wasn't that keen to have Filipino theme course meal and it's on me for not checking information about the theme. I would say it's a nice EXPERIENCE especially if it's your first time, but I would not recommend going in twice. BTW be careful with your water intake as they charge per bottle, I forgot how much but we had 3 bottles and cost us 1k PHP +. I also availed the alcohol inclusion. For me, someone who wanted to experience various alcohol to have some knowledge about wines, it was worth it. Tried various wines which did compliment the dishes. Also I thought it was just one glass per fill in but seems to be bottomless? Well they refilled mine 2-3x times at one point because I had the mindset to finish the alcohol before the meal and well (save food taste for last)...
Helm continues to impress on my second visit. The service was impeccable, the food was outstanding, and the little touches, like taking home 'Sebastian' and a wonderfully detailed menu, made the experience special. The option of a half wine tasting is an excellent addition. I will definitely be back for more.
We visited in February for the 8 course tasting menu - and despite arriving late (classic Manila traffic), Josh and the team warmly welcomed us. The entire menu was Star Wars themed, which personally was amazing. And then the food was next level, I don't have the words to describe the flavours, colours and textures. Fantastic spot, highly recommended.
