Adorable place for seafood in Barranco. The service was excellent and food was delicious. Highly recommended.
Service and food were nothing short of incredible. They made me a mini causa and tiny pisco sour so that I could try more food. It is a busy little restaurant with great vibes. Highly recommend. They made recommendations for the main course and dessert and the entire meal was heaven on a plate.
Having been dropped in Lima for less the 24hr due to a cancelled fright, a casual lunch, seemed Necessary considering its rich culinary heritage. After finding El Pez Amigo, boy was I not disappointed, one of the best decisions since being in Peru. When going to a restaurant it’s not just about the food, An the detail in which El Pez Amigo goes into is what makes it from the charismatic welcoming staff, with the shiniest shoes and well put together uniforms. And busy Wednesday lunch time, they still didn’t manage to disappoint, being extremely attentive, they work together like a well oiled machine. With laughter and great atmosphere and quick service, it’s a must go. Let me start with the food, with fresh fish, the mixed ceviche hit all the spots, with a beautiful light freshness to it and slight tanginess from the lemon juice all worked in harmony, adding the picante relish, bought a beautiful warmth to the dish. Hit the mark. The Parmesan Scallops, were also a thing of beauty, being well seasoned, warm and just hitting the spot, simple but effective. Definitely recommend.
This is a great choice for a business or social lunch. Nice menu, good service, great fish! Can be a little loud during the lunch rush but that’s the norm in Lima. Highly recommended Excellent seas food and my favorite ceviche or toradito. Highly recommended
