It was a beautiful hang out session with my friends… The atmosphere was calm, serene and light. The service was impeccable, the service staff were able to answer questions and proffer assistance where required. There was a complimentary bread basket with butter before our meals arrived. The food was elegantly dished / served and the taste was excellent! None of us had any complaints about our orders. We were offered celebratory cupcakes on the house in light of the season. We of course ordered pastries to go. The croissant is one I ALWAYS look forward to and is far, never been disappointed ❤️ P.S. The in house menu has been updated and the prices have significantly increased (about doubled) so ask for the menu before you order.
A lovely halal place to enjoy breakfast with family or friends. Place os easy to find but parking is very limited and tight. The cafe carries freshly baked products and they tastes amazing. The servers are everywhere and i felt like rushes the customers for order. We had to send back ours 3 times before we could makeup our mind and order. She was also reluctant to bring the Nigerian Pepper sauce and had to be requested 4 times before another server brought it out for us. Food comes very quickly and tastes very good. Place has halal food but be aware of the icecream. Some flavors have alcohol in it. So ask before sampling. Price is on the high end but quality is high too.
1st time was for a pre-theatre lunch. Had the chicken escalope. This was quite nice and the side salad, crunchy and tasty with a drizzle of melted cheddar cheese. The chocolate milk shake was very good. Went in a few more times for the Affogato and had the Classic Burger which were both great. The 2nd time I had the Escalope was really puzzled. The breadcrumbs crust was really dry and the Chicken itself was bland. First time I left disappointed. One thing I must commend them for is the service. Always very good. Attentive waiters who never get the orders wrong. The environment is also, always very clean.
I buy snacks sandwiches etc from here but I've noticed if I eat in the food is arriving cold more than usual and also the sandwiches after eating them (predominantly my favorites the avocado chicken & tuna egg) I have a sore throat after eating it EVERYTHING TIME... anyone else noticing this? Makes me suspicious as to what ingredients are inside!
