El Jonuco offers a fantastic dining experience that truly captures the essence of Mexican cuisine with a contemporary twist. The dishes are full of rich flavors and fresh ingredients, making each bite a delight. The ambiance is warm and inviting, complementing the excellent service. One standout recommendation is to end your meal with the exquisite fig dessert, which is both unique and delicious. Paired with a 'carajillo'—a coffee spiked with liquor—it’s the perfect way to conclude an unforgettable meal.
Great atmosphere, but place has no choice of meats. Only arachera was available as a steak. Please reconsider the menu offering. Also, there were at least 3 major dropping of dishes on the floor by servers. Kinda a noisy. Appetizers were ok. Nothing much impressive, really. The dessert was delicious! Monterrey is known for good steaks. Please catch up with a great reputation.
This place is unique with regional gourmet taste. A bit of the way about 10 mins driving from the airport. This is a must visit when traveling in Monterrey or jus passing thru
This place is absolutely out of the track, but do not let the location fool you... you won't get any better regional cuisine elsewhere. After 10 years visiting Monterrey regularly, I'm sure to admit that El Jonuco is my favorite restaurant.
