The hotel blared music until late at night at their hotel bar twice in a row. When confronting the front desk about this they said ‘this is a bar’ ?… Location is great, rooms were nice but a bit run down and can get a bit hot with all the windows. Israel was super accommodating and a shining star example of hospitality and helpfulness.
This hotel is wonderful at a good price. The breakfast is a MUST here - for 300 MX pesos (~$15 USD) you get a continental breakfast that really hits (get the chilaquiles! + fresh tangerine juice) Close by to a lot of things and you can walk into central Guadalajara for all your sight seeing needs. But you're far away from the main roads, so walkability and noise are very much under control. Neighborhood was also beautiful, clean, and felt safe
Great food and Mexican wine. Laid back yet elegant dining experience. Beautiful inside and really enjoyed the pasta Camerones. So fresh and homemade.
Good options with a modern twist. Portions have the right size and the overall taste is very good. Service is average, the staff seemed more interested in chatting among themselves than looking after the customers
