When it comes to Nasi Kandar, a few places are as good as Pelita. While the nasi kandar is the highlight, the other dishes are also great. The maggi goreng is my particular favourite, as well as the Pelita soup. They are famous for their fried chicken, so you definitely need to try that. The restaurant is also really big, so there's plenty of space even if it's crowded during lunch or dinner. There's also a huge menu, so it's very likely you will find something to your liking.

The atmosphere is vibrant and welcoming, making it a great spot for both casual meals and family gatherings. My personal favorites are the roti canai, which is perfectly crispy and fluffy, and the rich prawn or fish curry that packs a flavorful punch. The tandoori chicken is another highlight, marinated to perfection and bursting with spices. Each visit is a delight, and I find myself returning every time I’m in KL. If you’re looking for delicious local dishes in a very local atmosphere , this restaurant should be at the top of your list!
Delicious, worth the money. Penang food, all ok. Love it. Will come again. Mamak they called them. I dont know why. Never heard that before. All food is great. Near my hotel, open 24 h.
Open 24 hours a day, we ate Breakfast and dinner at Nasi Kandar Pelita. Lots of seating with a wide selection of eating options. You can have you traditional Nasi Kandar or opt for something from the menu. Restaurant can get busy at times, but we did not have to await long for our order to be taken, food to arrive. Very clean, with lots of food and drink options. Located very close to the Petronas Towers.
