Chinese cuisine is rich in textures. this restaurant does the perfect job of bringing out clean, distinct subtle flavors with complex textures to capture classic dishes. The green soup was made of basil, mint and sesame, paired with crunchy green beans, soft black eye peas, rice and other textures. they only used local free range chickens. The Wine Chicken was a fermentation with red yeast, made in house. the owner stopped to talk to us too! overall we had 6 entrees and drinks for $30USD
Hands down the best Lei Cha in Klang Valley. The quality of the ingredients were fresh and impeccable. Very tasteful! This restaurant deserved the Michelin star ⭐ If you dine in, you can add soup 😋
I have been coming to this restaurant for many years for its Lei char which is flavorful n fulfilling. I m do glad it retains its original style n prices too.even after it was mentioned by the M guide. Their chai kueh are excellent.
Heard a lot about this restaurant and decided to check it out but was disillusioned. It was only 6.15pm on a Saturday, it was packed, and you have to wait for a table. With such scenario this must be a good restaurant to patronise. The restaurant is not big and have only 15 tables of varying sizes. Place is relatively clean and service is good. Food was served rather fast and serving portion is reasonable. The much talked about 'Lui Cha" was not as good as claimed and the only good thing was the soup... The "Yong Tau Foo" and the "Tung Po Pork" was also mediocre despite all the hype... I would say that dishes with creditable quality should be the "Salted fish minced pork" pattie and "Fried Fu Yee sweet potatoes leaves".
