Landed in Nairobi and drove straight to our hotel, which housed the Thorn Tree restaurant. My family ordered as I checked in, and it was late, and we were famished. We had grilled fish, local beef prep, and a vegetarian tagine. Can't praise the food and staff enough. Took a wee bit of time ,but we had at least 3 of them walk to the table and assure us and follow up on service. Food was lipsmaking and absolutely freshly made. Kudos to the chef and staff. Continue the good work. Would surely recommend it.
Food and service are excellent but beware of hidden MSG and gluten. There seem to be items on the menu marked as GF that are not and items that are GF that are not marked as such. I had the Kenyan beef and I highly suspect it had MSG in it. Pricey too.
