One of my favorites in Osaka. Japanese-Italian at some of its finest. Great ingredients, solid execution and some really warm hospitality.
Make sure to make your reservations online and early. This place is popular and for a very good reason. A staff of two make beautiful meals and they make work and their dishes look like art. You can easily see most of their time is spent preparing for the meals as they seem to work effortlessly and calmly when the place is packed. I am a vegetarian and the chief went to great lengths to accommodate me and accommodate he did and very well. Although my meal did not have the pricey ingredients of my wife, my dishes needed to be created from scratch which is why I didn't mind paying the same price at all. The sommelier was warm and knew her wines and would've made the evening much tastier if we didn't have to work the next day. Highly recommended if you love high quality Italian food prepared by masters and you don't mind paying for quality.
Food was excellent, lovely venue and brilliant and hard working chef come maitre-de. Attention to detail and everything freshly prepared.
We booked this restaurant after reading all the positive reviews on Trip Advisor and were so pleased we did. The place is a hidden gem. Unbelievable that Michael is the bar man, cook and waiter! Stunning food in a beautiful location. Highly recommend and we will definitely visit again.
