Very nice curry udon restaurant ran by two very experienced couples. The food is amazing. Vegetarian options are available, at least with no clear meat. The curry itself is though made with lard. It's a cash only place.
One of the best udon I’ve had so far in Japan. Ordered beef and egg udon, and the broth was so rich and flavorful, with a tint of sweetness (exactly the way I like it ❤️). Super nice staff and also English menu available!
We love exploring “mom and pop” run restaurants and this place was perfect. We sat at the counter and watched this 3 person dance. There was about a 2 foot walkway for the chef to zip back and forth from the tempura wok to the curry pot. They recognized right away that we needed an English menu. That and the photos made it easy for us to choose the Tempura udon. It was tasty and affordable. Next time I’d love to try the curry.
We had Crab crem beef curry udon, full set. Udon was very nice, probably 4+ but I was not really happy with the side dished (the set part). Staff is very nice and friendly, while the price is on the cheep side (920 ¥ for the set menu). I would still recommend it, since it’s very close to Osaka castle.
