Had to eat okonomiyaki to truly experience Osaka! Found this place from some review page and decided to eat here with my friends. There was a very short queue as it’s after dinner hours, and we were quickly served a table afterwards. Sadly we didn’t get the bar counter so we couldn’t see the chef performance, but it was still a cosy and nice environment. We have a griddle in the middle of the table, where the server will bring the completed food over, and will show an art of sprinkling mayonnaise over The food was served pretty fast. We thought the okonomiyaki is big but turns out it’s pretty small if it’s sharing (I would say one is good for one serving). So we ordered yakisoba afterwards. Overall I wouldn’t say there’s anything super special or nice, but it’s still filled with good vibes and decent food
Very good okonomiyaki and their gyōza is amazing. This is the place to try in Osaka to have the best okonomiyaki. The staff is very friendly and there's a menu in English. Would recommend to go early such as 11h00 or 11h30 to avoid the waiting line. Otherwise there's different floor and not only the 1st floor so there's plenty of seats.
Convenient and a great feed. We turned up at 16:30 for early dinner. Zero wait and took a table. Ordered the number 1 Osaka and number 2 Hiroshima Okonomiyaki. Probably just the one would have been enough but greedy is ok and with a beer - spot on. Service time fantastic, great feed and reasonable pricing. Healthy also. The mayo display is pure magic.
Won’t go back. Not my type of food. Not quite sure what’s the skills involved in stirring cooked rice w raw eggs and uncooked meats that’s then put on a girdle to cook. Same thing went for their Yakisoba.
