I have been a fan of Alborz for decades. When in Iran, I must go to Alborz at least a couple of times. I find the food exceptionally tasty and the quality is the best. The atmosphere is nice. It represents an old establishment yet clean and updated. It’s not over the top. To me it’s Just right! Although I personally find the prices reasonable and according to the quality it represents, I also understand that by comparison to the overall restaurant prices in Tehran it’s an expensive restaurant. My family always insists that there are better restaurants in Tehran here and there and I have tried many. However, I find Alborz the best in its class By far……
Maybe the most famous Cholokabab in Tehran. Very iconic restaurant. Great quality while it is so expensive.
First time trying Iranian food and found the experience great. The platter for starters was a meal in itself, so when the mains came could only eat a little as so much food, so asked if we could take the food home to eat later on. The staff were lovely and we will visit the restaurant again but not order so much next time.
Pricey compared to other local restaurants but the meat are super tender. Waiter didnt speak good english so there was miscommunication nd we ended up ordering more.
