This is a lovely two-floor restaurant, though unfortunately, the second floor wasn’t in service during our visit, so we enjoyed the cozy ambiance of the first floor. The atmosphere is calm, with comfortable furniture that makes it ideal for extended dining. The food was absolutely delicious, especially the sour kebab, which was a standout dish. The ginger lemon drink was also wonderful and refreshing. The staff were exceptionally polite and attentive, adding to the overall experience. However, finding parking nearby can be a bit challenging, so plan accordingly.
I was hosting a party of 30 for an event and I decided to go with this place for their heritage and reputation. I booked the VIP room but disappointingly had to move to the main area because the air conditioning wasn't working the the service we recieved was the opposite of vip. The welcome drinks took a really long time. The over all service was slow and they seemed overwhelmed with the two parties at the same time. They did offer us a discount because of the service issues but regardless the expectation was much higher with a classic restaurant of this caliber. The food was very good. The barg kabob is the best in the city. The koobideh was my least favorite. For smaller parties is an excellent choice but I won't be considering it for larger groups or events in the future.
The experience was like ordering champagne and getting warm beer and being rushed to drink it .Cold food , below average service and atmosphere . it was like being rushed to get you out in order to get ready for the next set of customers . Overall very poor and disappointing .Would I go back again or would I recommend this restaurant ? NO to all the above .
It was great, we had several family dinners there and we hope to return in the next few months. The meals were traditional but the atmosphere felt European, View of cross the street park was fun and mesmerizing.
