Very good ambience and excellent service from Priya ,Jorge who taken care of us until end of our dinner.
This is located on the 8th floor of the park hotel which is a top end 5 star hotel in anna salai road. This is an open roof restaurant with a cozy ambience. This has a swimming pool as well. Also, this place is best suited during cool times or dinner only as it's an open sky restaurant. They serve mostly Korean cuisine and the chef is too good. The taste of sushi was top notch as well. They can however improve on their mocktail menu which has only 3-4 options. We tried a mixed fruit mojito which was very good.
We went to sample the Korean menu during Korean Festival week. We wish we hadn’t. This was easily the worst dining experience we have had in Chennai. The dishes were served late and out of time — the last arrived nearly an hour after we ordered — despite being supposedly “pre-plated.” A “hot” soup was served without plate or condiments, and reached us cold. When we asked for it to be heated, it came back to us 15 minutes later; the bowl was now hot, but the contents were still cold — a completely unhygienic outcome. None of the food tasted remotely Korean. We spoke to a manager about our issues and he patiently listened to us. But we have subsequently heard that, although many complaints have been lodged in the past about problems with Aqua, the management has been consistently indifferent to remedying them. I don’t write bad reviews on TripAdvisor, as I don’t want to jeopardise the employment of servers and kitchen staff. They were all sweet, attentive and kind. But the management fully deserves to be blasted for creating the conditions in which an experience like this could happen. Its attitude clearly needs modification: our abysmal experience at Aqua smacks of managerial laziness and arrogance.
Nothing great in taste or variety you could expect here though just ordinary food which perhaps you might get any other restaurants in Chennai Had buffet dinner only good thing was they had dimsum n sushi included in buffet which was unbelievable tasty n nice
