Our team of office colleagues visited Sorgam, and it was an experience we won’t forget! From the moment we arrived, the staff's warmth and attention to detail made us feel at home. They thoughtfully walked us through each dish, even giving us a beautiful display of the items so we could pick our favorites. A big thank you to Mr. Silambarasan, who went above and beyond to make our lunch perfect. For those who love a bit of heat in their food, this place is heaven! The flavors were incredible, and the portions were generous. The meen satti sooru, with its starters and flavorful rice, was a standout, and the elaneer souffle? Absolutely divine—it’s a must-try! In short, Sorgam offers a memorable dining experience that’s well worth it! Dishes tried: Tangy fish, fish tikka, karuvepillai prawns, crab cutlet, crab lollypop, meen satti sooru, mutton brain fry, mutton chukka, smoked rice, mutton briyani, chicken satti parotta, sura puttu potallam and elaneer souffle.
It was quite a big place inside. The place and service was good. The food was a bit expensive but the taste was good. It might not be the best spot for health conscious persons , because here they add more oil , masala and ghee which brings more taste to it. My favourites were chilli chicken and mutton briyani , others were of moderate. This hotel was not listed in swiggy dine out to book a table and avail discount. You can call them and book your table. The service given by Prabhu was also good. Free parking on the road opposite the restaurant.
Had been to Sorgam@ Crimson Chakra for a quiet dinner with family. The South Indian cuisine was excellent, & dietary constraints were taken care of. The service was super fast. Each dish that was ordered was tasty, in fact, we ended up ordering a bit more than required & happily brought it home. 😃
Worst service, very low quantity, a way expensive. Made the special occasion to a worst time spent. Not really worth spending money.
