This place has an interesting concept - the food is served by trains. You can go for the theme and if you're planning to go in large groups. The food is priced decently but service wasn't up to the mark! The Chinese dishes tasted better than the rest. We couldn't order desserts as they close by 3.30 - they could've informed us but they were ignorant.
POOR SERVICE.. I had a disappointing experience at LOCOFEAST, mainly due to the unprofessional behavior of the waiter/captain. He completely ignored us and seemed unwilling to engage with customers. When I requested assistance with placing an order, he merely handed over the QR code scanner without explaining how to use it, leaving us confused. It also felt like he showed favoritism towards certain customers, which was extremely disheartening. I strongly believe the management needs to address such behavior immediately, as it reflects poorly on the restaurant's reputation. While the atmosphere was pleasant, the food was mediocre and didn't meet expectations. Unfortunately, the poor customer service overshadowed everything else. I won’t be visiting this place again. Thanks for the worst hospitality.
Parking is available. We reserved and went , but the place was very crowded and very noisy. We went on a holiday, may be I should i try on a working day. Food was very good and the staff there , one Mr.Sankar Ganesh guided us well. Serving is done through different trains. Children will enjoy that. Price is reasonable. Theme is kept as railway, Loco, railway stations etc... Too dark
The restaurant is located on the nungambakkam high road. The idea is very innovative with hi fi metro station like makeover and race car exhibit gives a wow expression as you enter. But the seating arrangements unfortunately lacks lighting and gives jus 30 to 40 percent brightness. Definitely make booking and go or prefer to wait for minimum 20 minutes. Almost all are hired from northern states. So communications might be difficult for pure locals. But for IT world citizens nothing do matter. They can sail along. Varieties are there. Ordered foods are served uniquely in the side highway through fast moving car like trays. Each table named after a Chennai MRTS station such as kodambakkam nungambakkam etc. The ordered stuff reach you through that trays and not through staff.( something different 🙃 )yes.. Over all different experience. If you have kids that is the right place You can surely enjoy the place food time
