Little Italy in Besant Nagar delivers a fantastic dining experience. The ambiance is very good, creating a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. The pizza was delicious, and the service was great—attentive and friendly. While the “Ice and Fire” drink was a bit too spicy for me with its chili pieces, the overall experience was still excellent. It’s definitely a place worth visiting for good food and exceptional service!
I've been here a few times over the years and I'm shocked that I put up no pictures but wasn't a fan of the tiramisu - rest were all good. Enjoyed everything else, the drinks were such a surprise!
On father's Day today ,it was A good choice to dine at Little Italy Besant Nagar that borders near the beautiful sea " Tha bay of Bengal" The USP of this restaurant ,a part inyernational & pan India chain, head quartered in pune ,is the consistent quality of food served here at all times . Their Chef Basheer never fails to nail the menu, curated by Executive chef Amul Kasve . Father's day celebrated in this restaurant was so fullfilling, thanks to wonderful hospitality extended as usual by Restaurant Mgr Mr Zakir and his team . The occupancy rate this evening ,goes to show the popularity of this restaurant with diners not just from the locality but from far like me, who motors down close to 10 kms to dine here. Today's relish was Stir fry vegetables and Ravioli crocante as starters and chefs special thin crust pizza .The chef decided on the desert baked Lemon Cello that was moist and just right . Iced lemon tea was just the right spoiler for a drink while Pumkin soup was as usual nostalgic . Trust me ,the rates chargesd for the good quality food is very reasonable and dinner for four just set us back by Rs 2400/ . Valet service goes with out Saying makes the visit quite Smooth .
Review of Little Italy Besant Nagar Chennai It's Saturday evening of January in the New year of 2023 and here I am reviewing this restuarant after the one I made in December 2021 post covid. When you think of a restuarant to go to with your family that's easy on your wallet but yet offering a great vegetarian meal, that too offering vegetarian Italian food , one need not look far and wide .Little Italy Besant Nagar or the one near Kadar Nawas khan road will be a good choice. They have been offering good food for last 3 decades And in fact Mr Raj Mehta from Pune pioneered Italian cuisine in India and presently they have more than 50 outlets spread across 4 countries that offers Pizzas Pastas, Apetizers with variety of cheeses . In fact they opened up in chennai on Nungumbakkam high Road several decades ago in Eldorado building basement and have since stood the test of time and now operate from Wallace Garden 3rd street Thousand lights off Nungumnakkam high road and from 17th cross street GOCHS colony Besant Nagar off Elliott Beach. We preferred the Besant Nagar outlet, for it has about 148 covers and easy to get a table reservation to suit our time , in spite of today being a week end . Mr Zakir the restuarant Manager received us in his usual hospitable mood and cordial smile . He offerred us a cozy table in a small family room with just two tables . Mr Ramakanth , the Sr Chef did not disappoint us and served us his recipes that continues to be tasty and good. Starting with iced lemon tea our dinner menu was Zuppa di broccoli, Fondule, saute vegetables, chef's special pizza and strawberry milkshake ..The above menu set us back by just Rs 2800 for 3 adults plus one kid . On the whole thecdining experience was very pleasant and joyful for the entire family. I would strongly recommend this restuarant for buffet lunch or dinner as ita an ideal family restaurant .
