If you want to enjoy punjabi vibes and food in Chennai then this place is best suited for you. Wide range of vegetarian and non vegetarian options with great ambience. Taste and portion of food served as per rate was good. Definitely give a try whenever you are in this area.

This is on ECR and thoroughly enjoyed my lunch time here. Food was served without delay. Owner as well as staff were very courteous. The restaurant is clean and tidy nicely decorated to give a feeling of Punjabi atmosphere. A khatiya is kept in one side of the wall with lot of wall hangings. Check pictures below. A special word for the owner who took time to come to the table and suggest the chutneys/dips on the table. thoroughly enjoyed my time here. Do visit if you love Punjabi platter.

Excellent North Indian Food! Simple, neat restaurant, but excellent punjabi food, with choices in both vegetarian & non-vegetarian! Great lassi, starters and main course. Be warned, portions are generous! Nice staff led by the owner, Mr. Navtej Singh, born and brought up in Chennai! Besides Mr. Singh's flowing locks, he is a friendly host. We will be back!

We found excellent reviews of Bhangra on ZOMATO and landed up there. Peeping in, a recently shifted place from Mayajaal mall to a nearby shop on the road, we saw a man with upturned moustache and free flowing grey hair on his stride. Amused by the sight, we stepped in this reasonably busy place and were promptly seated. The decor is simple but very Punjabi with lots of anecdotes on Punjab, it’s rich food, friendliness and pride. Well the Bhangra seems to have brought the Punjab to the Tamil heartland. Great lassi, superb chicken soup and real tandoor cooked wow starters. One should spend some time on the starters in Bhangra as they are worth it. One could taste the freshness and enjoy the hospitality lead by the owner with his flowing locks Navtej. Kudos for having bred a great smiling team. Well we ordered the great Thali for 2 and some bread for the other two and tandoori chicken. Next time May go with tandoori, sheek, Afghani/ tikka and a curry with dal makhni for 4. A must visit even if you are in Mahabs or on way to chennai on the ECR.l and relish authentic punjabi food. The one place which is worth a fix is the hand wash and bathrooms which are the only let down. Will be back again soon.
