By far the best restaurant we ate at in Paris. Tucked away on a quiet street in Les Marais, Chez Janou was everything we’d hoped for. Very busy restaurant and you’ll not get a table for dinner without booking. We had the 10pm sitting and where worried the restaurant may be quiet but not all all. Every table full and the bar in full swing. Cozy and bistro like with a really amazing atmosphere. I believe our server was Mariana and a complete star. So welcoming and fun to speak with. She found out it was my partners birthday and out came the shots. I don’t even need to tell you how good the food is, but I promise you won’t be disappointed. Just try and leave room for desert because the chocolate mouse is not to be missed. Thank you for an amazing evening and we wish you all the best for the future.
It's one of the best restaurants I've been to. We had ratatouille, duck breast, and the heavenly chocolate mousse. Everything was super delicious and amazing. I highly recommend making reservations as it gets super busy, and the waiting time could be over an hour.
big no. After half an hour queue outside in the cold- they rejected me saying “there’s no table for you, it’s gonna take too long” only because by myself I would be occupying a full table for four. Disgusting way of treating a customer.
We were lucky enough to visit this great restaurant. Had a fantastic lunch with our friends that live in Paris. Nice to go to a place where there were no tourists. All the food was great especially the chocolate mouse desert.
