An excellent restaurant, the best chicken rice of Paris. It really taste like Singapore. The staff was super friendly and efficient. Dessert is amazing as well. You should definitely try the Kaya, you’re going to like it. Super good selection of Wine and Craft beer. Highly recommended
Never expect to eat such an authentic or even better Singapore food in Paris! The taste of the Nasi lemak rice and sambal reminds me of how my ah ma will cook her Nasi lemak. It really gets me a little emotional after taking a bite especially being away from home for so long ! Not forgetting friendly server that makes the whole experience here even more enjoyable.
This was my second Chope Chope at the Hood, and I'm so glad to see this restaurant drawing in the crowds. Spicy cucumber salad and chicken rice were both delicious. If you like a taste of Southeast Asia, this place definitely hits home.
2 years after leaving Singapore for Paris, the local food is what we miss the most. After searching all over, The Hood has finally satisfied our cravings - every dish was delicious and brought us right back to our time in SEA! Kaya toast, chicken rice, satay, laksa… it’s all on the menu but special mention goes to the sambal aubergines which were so tasty and just the right amount of spicy to hit the spot. The pandan cake also deserves a shoutout, it was just the right fluffy consistency 👌 The Milo didn’t go unnoticed either. Thank you for the trip down memory lane, we’ll be coming back!! 🇸🇬
