Plz open a branch in London! Not feeling thirsty after the meal nor sugar-coma after desert is the best thing I can think of French dishes. Cooking of the pork shoulder is amazing. Tender, juicy and crispy on the outside. The roast chicken is also great. Very friendly to non-French speaking tourists like us. Highly recommend
Always amazing, we come here everytime we're in Paris. The food is always excellent, the ambience lovely and Sebastian is always welcoming whether for lunch or dinner. Well priced, exceptional food and fabulous service. You cannot go wrong.
As always, great food for reasonable cost, professional service, in a pleasant environment. I have been to Le Cornichon many times, and have never been disappointed.
Make what you will of this review, I suppose we can't blame the restaurant, but it is what it is. My wife and I had wanted a nice dinner away from the touristy areas of the city, and we found Le Cornichon. The staff were friendly and helpful with two people who didn't speak French. We were looking forward to a relaxed meal with some wine, but it didn't happen. Shortly after we were seated, a table of six teenage girls were seated directly behind me. They were loud and disruptive throughout our meal. About halfway through dinner, a man and his 5-year-old boy were seated next to us. The child proceeded to play with everything that was on the table, repeatedly knocking everything over, only stopping long enough to repeatedly sneeze on my wife. By the time we finished our mains, and the waiter asked if we wanted dessert, we only wanted to leave. So we asked for the bill and left as quickly as we could. I don't remember a thing about the food or the wine, all we could remember was the disruptive people surrounding us. When we choose a restaurant similar to this one, one of the reasons we go there is to be away from children and obnoxiously loud people. Unfortunately on this night, it wasn't the case.
