Phenomenal cozy dinner! This place was recommended to me by a local and I immediately felt how special it was when I walked in. The place is filled with literal warmth and so much character. The smell of food cooking was intoxicating as they have a very traditional flat top on coals where they make their steaks. Had a TBone steak and Veggies and loved the rock salt that they brought with it wine was reasonably priced and the staff was lovely.
Absolutely sensational. This was one of our favourite meals in Paris. The food is outstanding - rustic, sincere and delicious. The service was faultless, and the staff were graciously forgiving with our broken French. Book as early as possible so you don't miss out!
Absolutely Disappointing. I had high hopes for the steak. We ordered the Rib Steak for 2 and it was mostly inedible due to the very tough tendons and fat. We inquired why it was so tough and our waitress tried to bring us some better pieces. Unfortunately the grade of meat here is the worse I’ve ever had. It was hard to cut and chew and not flavourful. We will not recommend to anyone and noticed other diners spitting out meat pieces into their napkins. They must be busy because Anthony Bourdain mentioned this restaurant in his Paris travel show over 10 years ago.
Did not disappoint. Amazing food - we know our meat and this was good! Efficient and friendly service. Would definitely go back.
