I visited for lunch so my experience was somehow limited, but from the end: the dessert was unbelievable tasty. Trip through a different tastes of ambush starters to the main course - good lesson of tastes and creativity. Must visit place on map of Paris
Le Chateaubriand exceeded all my expectations. The chefs crafted a vegetarian tasting menu on the spot, paired with impeccable wines, showcasing true French culinary talent. Each plate was beautifully presented, with the chefs personally introducing their creations—a detail that made the evening feel intimate and extraordinary. The servers were equally amazing, providing thoughtful and engaging wine pairings that elevated the entire meal. The atmosphere was both welcoming and refined, creating the perfect backdrop for this unforgettable dining experience. Le Chateaubriand is everything I hoped for when coming to Paris: exceptional cuisine, unparalleled service, and a genuine connection to French gastronomy. I feel incredibly fortunate to have had this experience.
Complete failure. Food: clams, tuna and soup dish ok. The meat was almost not possible to cut. Strange non-tasty fish with served with corn. Cheese served you could have purchased in supermarket. Started to wonder if I had all 10 dishes promised. Wine: Well, my mistake. Not aware that the place specialised in natural wines. Only one proper Chardonnay available by the glass. A better selection needed. Ambience: Not many visitors. The place needs a complete renovation. Small tables. Why not give the guest some more space since two third of the restaurant was empty? Smoke from street sieved into the restaurant. No good. Complained about this. At the end one of the kitchen personnel in white costume also found an opportunity to smoke just outside the open entrance door. As a final comment, I have seen well renown chefs worldwide recommending this place. Question is if they have been here at all. Promoting this restaurant could significantly destroy their own reputation.
Delicous food and surprising flavour combination, with sn impeccable wine pairing. Wonderful staff and ambiance, bravo!
