Question. Is a ham sandwich ever worth 20Euro? I’m still in two minds. What I can say is that there was no queue outside on a Saturday lunchtime. Perhaps the public are talking with their feet? What I can say is that service was perfectly nice. The ham was succulent, flavourful, and there was a lot of it in the baguette. The bread itself was beautifully crisp on the outside. Had a wonderful chew on the inside. Comte cheese was glorious. And the pickles were a wonderful distraction from the richness of the butter and meat. I enjoyed the rest of the sandwich with a glass of champagne in the hotel room. Would I pay 20Euro again? You know what, I probably would…
Great sandwich, better than chez, friendly service and quick no wait. The owner is nice and very knowledgeable of what they are selling. We got a few things to go. The food is so good.
Excited to try, my partner and I went in the afternoon only to see a sign saying they’ll be back at 4:30. We waited until 5pm and nobody was there. We came back the next day at 11am and again nobody there. Their hours are clearly labeled online and on Instagram, but they clearly have no respect for the time of their patrons. I wasted hours driving and waiting for nothing. With unprofessional business practices like this, they could have the best sandwiches in the world, it doesn’t excuse such practices. Please let your customers know if you’re not working. Sad and inexcusable!
Disappointed they only accept cash. As a solo traveler I don’t keep a lot of cash, as this was my last day I had no cash. I will be back to Paris but most likely will not return to this shop.
