Wonderful food. Delicious dishes and nice atmosphere. The service was nice at times but the owner sure has opinions of how you should enjoy their dishes and was not as accommodating as I would expect with regards to sharing dishes. Bordered on a bit rude from my perspective and I have lived in paris a while. I did however like the food a great deal and for that I will likely come back even if I will know what to expect with the attitude.
Im not about the comments about the owner being rude. I thought they were all super charming and proud about their food. Why not it was vraiment delicieux!!!!!!
We loved Le Tagine! Incredible food and wine in a warm, festive atmosphere. The couscous was out of this world and the tagine with chicken, lemon and olives was equally good. We had a fantastic time. Considering the quality of the food and the portion sizes, an amazing value. Thank you for a wonderful meal!
Avoid this place! We made a reservation on line. After ordering two glasses of wine, and having them delivered, the waiter took our dinner order and when we said we would like to share an entree and an appetizer, he coldly told us “no. Two people, two dinners.” When we questioned this he said “this is a small restaurant, everyone must order dinner.” We were the only patrons in the restaurant. Entrees were very expensive and we felt we’d be satisfied with sharing a dinner, as we had seen previous reviews that description having too much food. In fairness, we also saw reviews about rude service, but chose to look past them. Big mistake. Bottom line, we paid for the wine, which we did not drink, and left.
