good steak but lack of ambiance and weird service. I went there on Sunday during lunch time. However, there was only 1 pair of couple. The whole dining room was nearly empty. The restaurant felt super quiet and did not feel like a high end restaurant that adequate to its price level. The reservation process was weird. The booking link on IG is not working. Wtsapp booking never reply & confirm. We only got reply on whatsapp 1 day before dining date. The only successful way to book is on openrice and google. Which is not very convenient. Spelling mistake on menu, house wine buy 1 get 1 free, but the word free is missing. We brought our own cake, did not expect to have it in the restaurant. When it was dessert time, their staff accidentally brought out the cake which we have already notified them we will decide whether it will have or not later. They brought out the cake without asking us which is weird. Steak was tender and taste good. Crab cake was overcooked and nearly burned. It was dark brown color and absorbed a lot of oil. Tasted greasy. Apart from the steak, everything was very mediocre..
If you want a cosy place for high quality of steak, this is the best place for you. Steak was cooked in perfection! Staff service was awesome. A unforgettable dining experience for me. Thanks
We two women had a horrible experience. The place was packed with very loud men in the waiting area. Despite a reservation, a table was not available. When I went to the hostess to ask how long it would be, a manager of some sort literally shushed me and told me to wait at the back of the bar. The atmosphere was one of a men’s club, not at all appealing to women. We walked out.
Fabulous meal. Decent location (maybe a little away from the true Times Square area). But a large location, not overly romantic though. Great service, fabulous house wine. But like every steak house in NYC prepare to pay a hefty price.
