Food so good, the tas easy to eatz will try 1 more time when cosm to this country
That's the full name of the restaurant, in Chinese 雲南啊老表黑山羊湯鍋米線. Pretty long name but to differentiate them from many other Yunnan style noodle places. This is a mini chain currently has 3 locations, I'm reviewing the one in Jordan. The namesake indicates their specialty is black mountain goat mixin 米線, which is a type of rice noodles. Though they also have other meats (beef, pork, chicken) rice noodles. I came here for their goat which was very good. Just a hint of gaminess to remind you that you are eating goat/lamb. Meats were tender and flavorful. I had the hot/sour pickled veggies small bowl $50 which was still plenty big for one person. Also had the marinated seaweed/kelp $20. Both very good. Other items on the menu look good too. Highly recommend anyone who's a fan of goat meat.
Though a bit rain and quite cold, it's a Saturday! I decided to go out and see what's new nearby for lunch, and I discovered this new gem for sheep lovers. (New to me haha...given this restaurant wasn't new in Kwun Tong.) The food & ambiance - I ordered a small bowl of mutton noodles (with skin) and a marinated cucumber. Waah! Very generous portion. Felt so warm and fulfilled after finished, especially during winter. Definitely visit again. The staff - Quick and helpful. The location - Kwun Tong MTR station exit D4, and walk straight for 5 minutes P.S. I heard that tea time starts at 3:30 pm, and could enjoy a free soy milk for each order. Can go for beef/pork/chicken if mutton is not your favorite.
